About Me

Hello! My name is Shabria Mayne.
I received my Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA in 2015 I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also a National Certified Counselor and have certified training in Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Further, I am a Doctor of Behavioral Health candidate at Cummings Graduate Institute. Overall, I have over ten years of formal experience in clinical mental health.

My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space to allow for honest discussion about your concerns, struggles, and personal conflicts, hopes for your future, goals, and all other considerations pertaining to life. I specialize in supporting diverse populations to include adolescent youth, young adults, women of all ages and those who identify with the LGBTQ community. I have a passion for supporting others as they navigate through the symptoms of various mental health disputes, improving self-esteem, and effectively managing stress. I understand that every individual is unique and comes with varying experiences. Personalized Care
In-Person and Telehealth Appointments
The first session is generally reserved for completing the Initial Assessment. This assessment functions as a comprehensive questionnaire through which we will examine various areas of your life and your reasons for seeking therapy.
